Mission
Taking “the high road” implies taking an honest look at unproductive ways we relate with others and our environment. This may include interactions with people, how we handle difficult situations, and any other stressors we may experience. “Taking the high road” is a purposeful choice toward understanding who we are internally and how we interact externally (both of which have been shaped by our natural personality and our life experiences), and implementing purposeful action toward reshaping and improving our internal thought patterns and our external interactions.
We are all looking for a deeper sense of well-being and a more balanced lifestyle. It is more likely achieved by assessing and recognizing our individual patterns, then keeping what works, and replacing what doesn’t work. This assumes personal effort and vulnerability to accomplish, and I am here to guide, counsel, support, & encourage you.
This is the mission of The High Road Counseling.
